Summary of the Skeena Watershed Committee Debriefing Session

From April 1992 until March 1997, a multi-sectoral, consensus-based initiative known as the Skeena Watershed Committee (SWC) operated within the Skeena River watershed.  Over a decade later, in February 2008, a number of participants of the SWC met in Terrace to debrief that experience, with a view to identifying lessons that may be helpful in informing and guiding future collaborative initiatives of this nature in the Skeena watershed and elsewhere.  What follows is a summary of their discussions. Complementing the summary is a set of notes that describes the details of the discussions.
